Lindsay,
I listened to this with Scarlett Johansson narrating and I have to say it was charming。 Alice is a very precocious child and Carroll had a very vivid imagination!

Very good book。 Lewis is a very creative and interesting author。 The book is amusing, funny and very engaging。 However, Lewis writing style isn't the most interesting, as he writes as he talks, which can be difficult to keep up。 Very good book。 Lewis is a very creative and interesting author。 The book is amusing, funny and very engaging。 However, Lewis writing style isn't the most interesting, as he writes as he talks, which can be difficult to keep up。 。。。more

Considerando que es un cuento para niños del 1800 está bastante bien。La curiosidad de Alicia es cautivante (fascinante)。

Fascinating tour in dream。。。
dev prabal,
What was this? Apart from the description of a dream of a child, I do not find any value in any of its statements。
Patry,
Un libro muy raro。 Desde luego no es un cuento infantil。 Se lee rápido y está bien leerlo desde adulto

4。5 stars。This was my favourite book as a child and so I thought I’d give it a re-read and I love it just as much now as I did then。 It’s so submersible and imaginative and truly takes you to another world。 I will always adore this story。
Kristin,
Adored and will read again。Fluid in the dreamlike sense。 The final paragraphs had me in genuine & heartfelt tears。。 and the entire book has me wondering - how much common sense is custom?
Rain,
I appreciate that as an adult I’m not the intended audience but this book is nonsense。 Not wonderful imaginative nonsense just rubbish。

As an obvious classic of whimsical absurdity, I'd expect Alice in Wonderland to be one of my top favorite books ever。 But sadly, every time I read it/try to read it, I inevitably lose focus and struggle to pay attention。 I think this is because there is so little plot it all just feels like a bunch of random chaos that's hard to keep track of。 Again, random chaos seems like it should be up my ally but in practice it just doesn't seem to click。 I'm guessing there are deeper themes and analyses bu As an obvious classic of whimsical absurdity, I'd expect Alice in Wonderland to be one of my top favorite books ever。 But sadly, every time I read it/try to read it, I inevitably lose focus and struggle to pay attention。 I think this is because there is so little plot it all just feels like a bunch of random chaos that's hard to keep track of。 Again, random chaos seems like it should be up my ally but in practice it just doesn't seem to click。 I'm guessing there are deeper themes and analyses but I usually get so bored that I don't care to try to find them。The narrator of this particular version of the book delivered a fantastic performance - every character had a unique voice。 But sometimes it was just so over the top that, again, I struggled to focus。 Hopefully one day I'll get through all of Alice in Wonderland with my focus in tact because I do usually like the parts that I'm able to keep track of。 One day。。。 。。。more

I thought it was just an unusual fantasy。 (hide spoiler)] And I can't remember if this is shown in the movie or not, to be honest。And I'm still unsure about the rating and how this book made me feel, but it was somewhat enjoyable and I laughed at times, so for now I'm giving it 3 stars (more like 2。5 - I will get back on this, maybe)。 。。。more
